Volunteer Planning Team – 10th Anniversary Halloween Fundraiser

Celebrating One has the purpose of providing vital emotional and financial support to individuals and families experiencing hardship. Through programs such as No Grad Left Behind, we ensure every student has the opportunity to celebrate graduation with pride, while equipping families with resources, education, and encouragement to achieve long‑term stability and success.

Location Columbus, Ohio (some roles remote)

Commitment Short‑term volunteer project (12 weeks, July–October estimated)

Time Commitment 2–3 hours per week depending on role

Celebrating One is seeking 5–7 volunteers to help plan and organize our 10th Anniversary Halloween Fundraiser supporting the No Grad Left Behind program, which helps underserved students afford graduation costs. This is a great opportunity for volunteers interested in event planning, fundraising, marketing, or nonprofit experience.

Commitment ~3 hours/week

• Oversee event planning timeline
• Coordinate planning team
• Support event day operations

• Contact local businesses for sponsor ships
• Secure raffle and auction items
• Seek food or dessert donations

• Promote the event on social media
• Create simple graphics and posts
• Share updates and event announcements

• Coordinate event supplies
• Assist with event setup planning
