The Volunteer Guardian Program of the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging seeks volunteers to serve as medical advocates for elderly individuals in nursing homes. Volunteers will support those aged 60 and over who lack family to assist in decision-making due to health issues.
No special qualifications are required, but volunteers are expected to visit their assigned person twice a month. Training and ongoing support will be provided by program staff.
