Coordinated Campaign GOTV Director
State Parties are responsible for building infrastructure necessary for successful candidate campaigns up and down the ballot. Over the last few years, Ohio Democrats built a year-round organizing model driven by local community activists and volunteers. Ohio Dems are testing new technology and programs to build a modern, data-driven and nimble force to elect Democrats statewide now and in the future.
In 2026, every statewide office will be on the ballot – including the governor's race and a special election to elect a U.S. Senator in the seat currently occupied by appointed Senator Jon Husted. With 3 DCCC Frontline Races to protect and 3 additional seats targeted by the DCCC, the path to a Democratic majority in the U.S. House and Senate will once again run through Ohio in 2026.
The Ohio Democratic Party's Organizing department is seeking a skilled data professional. Coordinated Campaign GOTV Director will manage and develop systems tools and processes to support the 2026 Coordinated Campaign in a battleground state. They will work with stakeholders, partners, and campaigns to create, oversee, and support a Get Out the Vote program for statewide operations. Responsibilities will generally include:
- Coordinate with Out of State volunteer organizations to support in-person and virtual voter contact efforts throughout the final 100 Days of the campaign
- Support the logistical development and implementation of a statewide GOTV program, including supporting the building of Staging Location structures and materials distribution
- Spearhead and scale the campaign's distributed and virtual DVC outreach by overseeing a phone and texting program for targeted voter mobilization and volunteer recruitment
- Oversee Fellows and Volunteers as they implement the Distributed Organizing model
- Support the Organizing Director in overseeing and executing the Campus Organizing program, in particular the voter registration programming
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Familiar with Coordinated Campaign structures and Staging Location infrastructure expectations
- Fluent in campaign tools and data systems including VAN, Scale to Win Dialer, Scale to Win Texting, Relational Organizing tools, etc.
- Ability to intake directives and act quickly to maximize impact
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced campaign environment, that may require long, irregular hours, including nights and weekends

The GOTV Director will be paid a salary of $7,000 per month and full benefits including PTO as needed, health, dental, and voluntary vision insurance. The hourly expectation will fluctuate depending on the campaign cycle, but will be a minimum of 55 hours per week. Housing will not be provided. Applicants must live in or be willing to relocate to Columbus, Ohio.
