The staff nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement, the patient experience, quality and safety, and cost‑effective care.

The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or ACEN (Commission for Education in Nursing) accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in a relevant care setting preferred.
• Maintains current Ohio RN license and meets mandatory educational and health requirements.
• Demonstrates commitment to patient‑centered care, quality improvement, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, documentation software, and basic computing tools.

Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
