About the Position

License: Active State or Compact RN License
Certifications: BLS – AHA (ACLS or CPI may be required depending on facility)
Must-Have: Strong clinical skills, ability to work in high-security environments, sound judgment

Description: The Corrections RN provides direct nursing care within a correctional facility, ensuring the health and safety of incarcerated individuals. Duties include administering medications, managing chronic conditions, triaging emergencies, assisting with intake screenings, documenting care accurately, and collaborating with custody staff to maintain a safe healthcare setting.
