Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least two years of Level 1 trauma OR experience and EPIC proficiency.

Job Details

• Work in an 18-bed Level 1 Trauma Operating Room,

• Covers variable shifts including days and evenings with 8, 10, or 12 hour options,

• Call required Monday through Friday from 2100 to 0630, and on weekends in 12-hour rotations,

• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs,

• Cases include general, robotic, laparoscopic, trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgery, spinal, ophthalmology, ENT, plastics, burns, urology, GYN, and transplant,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license,

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience,

• Previous experience in a Level 1 trauma center required,

• Current BCLS certification,

• Experience with EPIC EMR required,

• Preferred experience in ENT, GU, plastics, and burns,

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include circulating in orthopedic, neurosurgery, spine, and general surgery cases,

• Work closely within a multidisciplinary surgical team environment,

• Responsible for maintaining accurate patient records using EPIC,

• Holiday and weekend coverage may be assigned depending on departmental needs,
