Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position with a focus on lower acuity cardiac patients and night shift requirements.
Responsibilities- Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with lower acuity cardiac patient population
- Typical patient ratio is 1:3
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week (7:00pm - 7:30am)
- Schedule includes weekdays, some weekends, and rotating holidays
- Required to float to units of equivalent or lower level of acuity
- Uses EPIC for documentation
- Telemetry monitoring and IV starts are essential skills
- Cardiac experience is preferred
- Holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis
- Applicants must provide two professional references from supervisors within the past two years
- Full 7-year work history must be provided with all gaps explained
- All time off or scheduling requests must be submitted initially
- Active OH or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with telemetry and IV starts required
- EPIC charting experience required
