Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Telemetry position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, EPIC proficiency, and night shift availability.

• Work setting is a 24-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a mixed cardiac stepdown and med-surg patient population (9 PCU and 15 MS beds)
• Approximately 9 of 24 beds are designated cardiac stepdown
• Estimated patient ratio of 1:3–5
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• EMR:
  Epic (experience required)
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• No break-in-service required between assignments for RNs changing representation at this facility (does not apply to Sterile Processing Techs)

• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry monitoring skills required
• IV start skills required
• Intermediate-level nursing skills required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Cardiac and/or IV insulin drip (GTT) experience preferred
