- Valid RN license
- Proven experience in MICU or critical care settings (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Proficiency in ventilator management and IV starts
- Strong skills in computerized charting, specifically EPIC
- Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification - Ability to monitor complex device equipment including pulmonary artery catheters, CRRT, and chest tubes
- Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with clinical trials or specialized procedures such as plasmapheresis
- Knowledge of oncology‑related emergencies
- Familiarity with complex medication administration
- Multilingual abilities
Education and Experience
- Current RN licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience, preferably in a MICU setting
- Relevant certifications and training in critical care procedures
- Willingness to work night shifts (19:00 – 07:30) on a 12‑hour rotating schedule
- Ability to adapt to shift changes based on departmental needs
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Compliance with all relevant state, federal, and local regulations
