- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040

- Shift Options:
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Scheduling: Self-scheduling
- Unit: Oncology/BMT (mixed-acuity PCU & Med-Surg)
- Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics (hematology/oncology and transplant patients)
- Charting System: Epic EMR (required) — Epic experience preferred for travel nursing roles
- Float: May float to other Med-Surg Oncology units as needed
- Orientation: 72 hours
- Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required; must have at least 1 year of current Oncology specialty experience (within the last 3 years). Medical-Surgical and Oncology experience required;
Hematology/Oncology strongly preferred. - License: Active RN license (Ohio or compact) in hand at time of submission
- Certifications Required: BLS
- Preferred Certifications: ACLS;
Oncology certification and/or ONS chemotherapy knowledge (chemotherapy certification not required) - Travel Experience: Prior travel nursing experience required
- References: Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leader; no coworker-only references)
- Education: Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program

- MS/Tele nursing, telemetry monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Rapid Response activation and escalation
- Blood and blood product administration (transfusion experience)
- Central line/implanted line care, port access/management, PICC management, central line blood draws
- Feeding tube and peripheral IV care/management
- Isolation precautions/PPE and strong infection prevention practices
- Experience with CAR-T patients, post-transplant monitoring, and immunocompromised patient care preferred
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care for patients with complex hematology/oncology conditions in a mixed-acuity PCU/Med-Surg environment
- Support BMT care including autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic transplant populations, plus CAR-T therapy patients
- Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor trends, and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Administer blood products and communicate/act on abnormal lab values per protocol
- Manage central lines, ports, and PICCs including access, dressing care, blood draws, and troubleshooting
- Utilize telemetry monitoring and interpret rhythms, escalating concerns appropriately
- Partner with interdisciplinary support teams (pharmacy, respiratory, PT, radiology, social services, rapid response, and more) to coordinate patient-centered care
