RN - Oncology

Schedule

- Shift: 12-hour Day/Night (rotating)

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience required.
- Must meet experience requirements within the most recent 3 years.
- At least 1 year of current specialty experience required for clinical pass.
- EPIC charting experience required.
- Required certification: BCLS (Basic Life Support).

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric oncology patients, focusing on symptom management and chemotherapy-related monitoring.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including chemotherapy.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in patient care.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 72 hours.
- Flu vaccine:
Required (medical exemptions only).
- RN must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission.
- References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be a manager/director or formal supervisor.
- Credentialing/fingerprinting: strict timeline - fingerprinting must be completed urgently upon booking.
- RTO required with submission.
- Locals accepted at same rate.
