Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Ohio

Start Date: April 6, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts or nights only; floating required; weekend coverage required

Highlights:

• Oncology Pod Emergency Department with 15 rooms and 19 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:4 across all shifts
• EPIC charting system utilized throughout the department
• Diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
• 14-week contract with potential for 7 consecutive days off at facility discretion

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission)
• Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

• Shift assignments are assessed every 4-week scheduling period; rotating contracts may include nights or mixed shifts based on department needs

• Strict compliance requirements apply, including urgent Ohio fingerprinting process upon contract signature
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 from manager/director or formal leadership;
  Charge RN acceptable for second reference
• Compliance deadline:
  Tuesday prior to start date with no exceptions
