Job Summary
A Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care by assessing health conditions, developing nursing care plans, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. The RN ensures high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and monitor patients’ health conditions, symptoms, and progress.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans .
Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate patient records.
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and post-treatment care.
Maintain infection control standards and follow hospital safety protocols.
Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid or life support when required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or registration with the relevant nursing council.
Basic Life Support ( BLS ) certification;
Advanced Cardiac Life Support ( ACLS ) preferred.
Clinical training or internship experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Required Skills
Strong clinical and patient care skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Knowledge of medical terminology, equipment, and procedures.
Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Experience
1–3 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare facility.
Experience in specialized departments such as ICU, emergency, pediatrics, or surgical care is an advantage.
