Title
Travel RN - Medical Oncology Clinic

Schedule

Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Assignment Details
Unit size: 16 exam/treatment rooms
Daily visits: ~100

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years oncology clinic RN experience required
- Active RN license (compact or state)
- BLS certification required

- Experience with outpatient oncology and breast cancer care
- Skills in central line/implanted port care, blood draws, and PICC line care
- Proficient in starting and maintaining IVs; accessing/managing ports

- Experience with EPIC charting system required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adults in an outpatient oncology and breast clinic setting
- Administer treatments, medication, and assist with care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and supportive care

Compliance / Notes
- Strict compliance deadline:
Tuesday prior to start - no exceptions
- Ohio fingerprinting must be completed immediately after contract signing; delays may push/cancel the assignment
- References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be a manager/director or formal supervisor
- Education must be from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
