DaVita is hiring a Dialysis Nurse (RN) to provide life-based care at our Columbus West Dialysis center in Columbus, OH.

• Supervise and perform direct patient care, including vital signs, dialysis initiation and termination, documentation, physical assessment, order transcription, and ordering laboratory work.
• Provide dialysis therapy following physician orders, including ultrafiltration rates, safety compliance, medication administration, and discontinuation protocols.
• Analyze patient assessments and laboratory data, raise concerns to physicians, monitor trauma signs, review dialysis orders, document observations, and communicate emergencies to the supervisor, Medical Director, Regional Operations Director, or Facility Administrator.
• Assess patient and family learning readiness, provide education on renal disease and dialysis, and participate in the development and implementation of the patient's care plan.
• Operational hours: MWF 4:00 am-6:00 pm, TTHS 4:00 am-3:00 pm.
• Clinic has 12 chairs; 1 RN and 2-3 dialysis techs scheduled per shift.
• Work well in a team, be adaptable, dependable, demonstrate leadership, time-management, redirection, communication, and critical thinking skills.

• At least 1 year of clinical experience as an RN.
• A associate's degree in nursing (A.D.N.) from an accredited school of nursing; a B.S.N. or a three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may substitute.
• Certification such as Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is helpful but not required.
• Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a drug screen and a background check.
