Title
Registered Nurse - Palliative Care

Schedule

Shift: D/N (day or night)

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- BLS certification (must be current)

- Experience with pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic pain management
- IV skills: starting and maintaining peripheral IVs, peripheral line care
- Basic respiratory/airway care experience
- Dysrhythmia recognition and management experience preferred
- Phlebotomy and general med-surg competencies

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with serious and life-limiting illnesses.
- Manage pain and other symptoms to improve patients' quality of life.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions to provide appropriate interventions.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and symptom management strategies.
- Assist with end-of-life comfort care.
