Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Stepdown RN for this travel assignment. You will provide patient‑centered care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and enjoy competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and dedicated clinical support.

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; responds to abnormalities
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments for cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients
• Observes patients, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisors or physicians as needed
• Responds to life‑saving situations per nursing standards and protocols for cardiac emergencies
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for assigned telemetry patients
• Initiates patient education plans on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintains patient confidentiality
• Performs other duties within scope of practice
• Adheres to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication
• English language proficiency for reading, writing, and communication
• Computer proficiency and ability to read/comprehend instructions
• Physical Abilities – ability to remain in stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Interpersonal Skills – work effectively with diverse personnel, maintain professionalism
• Technical/Motor Skills – fine manipulation, assist procedures, operate equipment
• Mental Requirements – handle high‑pressure situations, irregular schedules, and maintain concentration to details
