Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Cambridge, Ohio. This is a well-supported, team-based emergency department offering consistent APP coverage, strong physician support, and a manageable patient volume.
This is not a chaotic, overcrowded ER.
This is a structured, efficient emergency department where APPs are fully integrated into care delivery with the support needed to practice confidently.

Schedule:
- APP coverage 24 hours/day
- Shifts available:
- 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Flexible scheduling available based on provider availability
Practice Environment- 17-bed Emergency Department
- ~15,000 annual patient volume
- Low transfer rate (~5%)
- 24-hour physician coverage
EMR:
Medi Tech
This is a low-to-moderate volume ED with a predictable flow and strong clinical collaboration.
Clinical Scope- Evaluation and management of acute and emergent conditions
- Minor procedures and urgent interventions
- Collaborative care with on-site physicians
- Efficient documentation within Medi Tech
Providers should be comfortable managing a broad range of emergency presentations in a community ED setting.
What We’re Looking For- Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP/ENP) or PA-C
- Active Ohio license and DEA
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience required
- Comfortable working independently within a team-based model
- Predictable shift structure with flexibility
- Full physician coverage at all times
