Job Summary
Psychiatric/DD Nurse 15% Recruitment Supplement and 10% Supplement for 2nd and 3rd shifts (2600018Q). Full‑time position at Columbus Developmental Center, 1601 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43222‑1087.
OrganizationDevelopmental Disabilities – Columbus Developmental Center.
Compensation and BenefitsSalary: $34.96 per hour, increasing to $36.65 in 180 days. Additional 2nd/3rd shift differential: $1.50 + $3.50 per hour plus recruitment supplement $5.24 per hour. Annual increases and longevity supplement after 5 years.

- Primary nursing responsibilities for assigned residents: nursing treatment planning, chart audits, medication management, infection control, physical assessments, and health‑care related scenario programs.
- Communicate medical information to parents/guardians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Fill in for psychiatric meetings, work with physicians, and process physician orders.
- Schedule follow‑up care and manage preventative health screening.
- Assist with feeding, grooming, self‑care; evaluate injuries and administer first aid.
- Respond to medical emergencies and make decisions in supervisor’s absence.
- Serve as member of interdisciplinary team, submit reports, and provide clinical oversight to LPNs.
- Assist in training of new staff and conduct in‑service training sessions.
- Current registered professional nurse license in Ohio issued by the Board of Nursing.
