Job Description

Title:

Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular/Cardiac ICU

Schedule:

Days/Nights; 36 hours/week; rotating holidays; up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week period; minimum of 4 weekends per 4-week block.

Assignment Details:
- Orientation: 36 hours

Requirements:
- License:
Valid compact or state RN license

- Certifications:

BLS, ACLS

- Experience:

Preferred 2 years of cardiac ICU experience
- EMR:
Epic

Roles & Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the cardiovascular/cardiac ICU.
- Monitor and analyze patient conditions, focusing on cardiovascular and respiratory functions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Assist in the management of advanced technologies and life-support systems.

Compliance / Notes:
- Strict credentialing deadline:
Tuesday prior to start.
- Background checks and drug screens may be required.
- Submit finger printing promptly after signing.
- Pre-approved time off: 1 day (per contract).
