Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position in Ohio, requiring an active OH or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license (must be active at time of consideration)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS and IV Certification
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as a second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a (3x12s), weekdays and some weekends
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting; prior Epic experience preferred
• May be required to float to lower acuity units as needed
• Responsibilities include IV placement and management, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, patient and family education, and care team collaboration
• Travel nursing experience is a plus; first-time travelers are welcome to apply

• All candidates must complete Ohio state fingerprinting promptly upon accepting the position; detailed instructions will be provided by the credentialing team
• Former employees of the facility are eligible after a minimum 6-month separation period
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract duration
