Job Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Manager – Home Health for OSU Wexner Medical Center Home Care. This role is hybrid: 3 days in office and 2 days work‑from‑home after 90 days. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm with an on‑call rotation of approximately one weekend every two months.

- Provide oversight of personnel and patient‑care services.
- Monitor compliance, quality, and safe delivery of services by following clinical processes.
- Ensure Start of Care compliance and manage outcome monitors.
- Participate in all on‑call and administrative rotations; manage staffing and address after‑hour team needs.
- Report staffing trends, neglect, abuse, or theft to the Administrator.
- Assist with patient visits and address any patient issues.
- Participate in budget management, monitoring supply costs, overtime, staffing, bonuses, and visits per episode.
- Select and onboard staff; provide supervision and training.
- Collaborate with intake, provide daily direction, and manage referral volume based on staffing availability.
- Maintain positive relationships with referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, skilled facilities, assisted living, and families.
- Ensure timely completion of work and charting; identify education needs for the team.
- Manage call schedule, PTO, call offs, and productivity reviews to maintain proper staffing coverage.
- Ensure quality and safe delivery of home‑health services by the clinical team.
- Review clinical documentation and maintain current knowledge of all Medicare, federal, insurance, company, and hospital guidelines, policies, and protocols.
- Compassionate communicator with a positive attitude.
- Patient and family‑focused, patient‑centric approach.
- Attention to detail, observant, and follows directions.
- Critical thinker capable of problem solving clinical needs.
- Current RN or PT license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an RN or PT in an acute‑care setting.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance if driving will be required.
- Capable of all physical demands of the position.
