Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. They assist patients with activities of daily living, administer medications, and provide bedside care in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities and Duties- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and symptoms
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare needs and treatments
- Ensure safe and clean working environment for patients and staff
- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and policies
- Valid LPN license in the state of employment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
