Med Pro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Long Term Acute Care assignment in Columbus, Ohio.

• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 18 months of recent experience in a Long Term Acute Care setting
• Experience with ventilators, trach tubes, IV drips, EG tubes and ability to read telemetry strips
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility

• Provide care to 5–6 patients.
• Adjust and perform tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Manage frequent admissions and discharges.
• Monitor and administer medications orally, subcutaneously, and via IV.
• Educate patients and families on surgical processes and illness management.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, record and interpret electronic displays, and interpret telemetry readings.
• Perform all duties required of a registered nurse at all times.
• Care for patients with pulmonary hypertension, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and atrial fibrillation.
• Use computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information.
• Start IVs, draw blood, and provide continuous patient care from admission to discharge.
