Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular/Cardiac ICU

Schedule:

Days/Nights; 36 hours/week; rotating holidays; up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week period; minimum of 4 weekends per 4-week block.

Assignment Details:

Requirements:

• License:
  Valid compact or state RN license
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS
• Experience:
  
  Preferred 2 years of cardiac ICU experience
• EMR:
  Epic

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the cardiovascular/cardiac ICU.
• Monitor and analyze patient conditions, focusing on cardiovascular and respiratory functions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Assist in the management of advanced technologies and life-support systems.

Compliance / Notes:

• Strict credentialing deadline:
  Tuesday prior to start.
• Background checks and drug screens may be required.
• Submit finger printing promptly after signing.
• Pre-approved time off: 1 day (per contract).
