Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit

Schedule:

Nights, 3x12s

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Cardiac/vascular post-op experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients in a surgical progressive care unit.
• Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms, interpreting dysrhythmias as necessary.
• Manage post-operative care for cardiac and vascular surgery patients, including sheath removal and wound care.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes:

• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Strict fingerprinting requirement for assignments in the state; candidates must complete fingerprints immediately after signing contract.
• RTO required with submission.
