This position supports positive patient outcomes, maximizes patient involvement in their own care plans, and reduces length of hospitalization. The staff nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement, patient experience, quality and safety, and cost‑effective care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care and support services to patients and their families.
- Assume responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, delegation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients, following the professional practice model.
- Direct and supervise nursing care delivered by other members of the patient care team.
Bachelor’s Level Degree in Nursing.
Required Qualifications- Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or ACEN (Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing) accredited program.
- Current Ohio nursing license or interim permit.
- Experience in a relevant care setting preferred.
