• Provide palliative care focused on relief from side effects of serious illness
• Deliver symptom management for patients, including needs such as uncontrolled pain, severe nausea/vomiting, failure to thrive, and fatigue
• Support patients who may receive comfort-focused care and patients continuing treatment
• Perform patient assessments, develop/implement care plans, and coordinate with the care team
• Administer medications and monitor patient response to treatments
• Maintain safe, compassionate care while working on a growing/new unit
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed (required)

Unit timing note: The palliative care unit is scheduled to open 07/01/2026
. If you start prior to that date, you may float to inpatient units until training is complete
.

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• EPIC experience required
• Ability/expectation to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Night shift availability for 19:00–07:00 (3x12-hour)

• Previous travel experience
