Job Description SummaryThe Advanced Practice Providers (APP), Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) – including Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) – work in collaboration with the physician in the hospital‑based inpatient setting, primarily in the Intensive Care Unit or as a first surgical assistant across various specialties. Perform invasive procedures requiring a high level of independent clinical decision‑making.
ResponsibilitiesAnd Duties
- Work under direction and in consultation with physicians, performing services authorized by the supervising physician that are part of the physician's normal course of practice.
- Promote quality outcomes and initiatives.
- Practice within applicable state laws and boards, following the physician's supervision agreement or standard care arrangement and delineation of privileges.
- Master's Degree (Required)
- NCCPA – National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants – American Association of Physician Assistants
- RN – Registered Nurse – Ohio Board of Nursing
