Travel Nurse Source  is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43085!

Med Surg Tele RN

Location: Columbus, OH

Start Date: 05-04-2026

End Date: 08-03-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night, 3x12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (NOC); every other weekend coverage; no on-call duty

Hours per Week: 36

Requirements
  • Provide skilled Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing care across East Tower units including General Surgery, Trauma, Vascular, Wound, and Plastics
  • Perform telemetry monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias to guide timely interventions
  • Start and manage IV therapy, access and manage ports, and perform central/peripheral line care
  • Deliver wound care including Wound Vac management and post-op surgical drain care
  • Respond as an active member of Rapid Response/Code teams when needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV team, Respiratory, PT, Pharmacy, and Social Services
  • Document care accurately and efficiently in Epic to ensure continuity and quality of care
Qualifications
  • Active RN (Registered Nurse) as indicated by job title
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Proficiency in IV starts and IV therapy
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
  • Prior experience with Epic is mandatory
  • Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
  • Ability and willingness to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
