Travel Nurse Source  is working with Prime Staffing to find a qualified Oncology RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

- Acute Leukemia and Hematology - 12 D/N or 12 N - CHEMO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED!!!

Experience:

Must have MS oncology and at least 1 inpatient hematology oncology experience in work history and checklist. A minimum of two years of overall nursing experience is required

First Time travelers: NOPatient Age Group:
Adults, Geriatrics Patient Diagnoses:
Primarily care for newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients

Medical unit - high number of blood products, IV antibiotics and electrolytes.

Staffing Ratios:
Goal is 1:4, but can be 1:5

Weekends:
Variable based on unit needs

Schedule:

No set/blocked scheduling. Self-schedule requests accepted to accommodate preferred schedules before finalizing.

Orientation:
First week:
Mon-Fri dayshift. Second week: 36 hours of on-unit orientation with a preceptor.

If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time. Special Focus:
Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols Patient falls prevention
