Ohio RN License, BLS (Basic Life Support) required - Experience:
Oncology preferred but not mandatory;
Epic charting experience required

- Float across Oncology Medical-Surgical and PCU units as needed
- Ensure patient safety in a secure correctional environment with controlled access
- Monitor and manage patients with active oncology diagnoses, including solid tumors and hematology treatments
- Perform IV therapy, medication administration, and blood product management
- Utilize EPIC for documentation and Pyxis for medication management
- Recognize and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias, manage telemetry monitoring
- Support patients with respiratory equipment (CPAP, BIPAP, HFNC), feeding tubes, and dialysis management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pharmacy, respiratory services, social services, and rapid response teams
- Ohio RN license
- BLS certification
- 1+ year of hospital nursing experience, preferably in medical-surgical or telemetry units
- EPIC charting experience
- Oncology or oncology-related experience
- Experience in correctional or secure unit settings
- Certification in cardiac monitoring or related fields
This position is based in a correctional healthcare setting serving Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections inmates. The unit handles diverse patient diagnoses including oncology treatments, surgical procedures, and chronic illness management. The nurse will support a secure environment, float across units, and collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to provide exceptional care.
