Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• At least eighteen months of recent experience in an acute‑care oncology setting
• Additional client‑specific requirements may apply

Duties and Responsibilities

The Oncology RN will provide comprehensive care for cancer patients across all stages of their disease, typically focusing on the acute phase.

Duties include:

• Administering chemotherapy and other infusion therapies
• Implementing symptom management protocols and monitoring patient progress
• Educating patients and families about treatment options and procedures
• Offering a supportive environment, with potential to specialize in pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer
