Travel Stepdown​/PCU Registered Nurse

Job Summary

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a Progressive Care Unit RN for a travel nursing assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The position starts on 06/15/2026 and lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring data shows adverse symptomatology.
• Stand, walk long periods, bend, lean, and stoop; lift items up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when required.
• Maintain strong stress‑coping skills and communicate effectively with patients and their families of all ages and backgrounds.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform routine nursing tasks.
• Must be willing to work night shifts and travel to Columbus, Ohio.
