Description:
The ideal candidate will work in a dynamic medical surgical/telemetry unit. On this unit, the majority of patients require continuous cardiac monitoring. Patients are primarily receiving chemotherapy administration and symptom management. The focus will also include management of comorbidities. Infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention are emphasized. The unit utilizes special equipment including telemetry monitors and bladder scanners. There will be a requirement to float to other units of equivalent or lower acuity.
This role involves working with a diverse patient population including adults and geriatrics. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and be adaptable to evolving patient care needs. Prior travel experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role. Candidates must be prepared for a fast-paced work environment. All applicants must have relevant acute care experience.
