American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience and Epic proficiency.
Details- Night shift position (3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30)
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a large academic medical center
- Estimated patient ratio of 1:3
- Schedule includes weekdays and some weekends with rotating holidays
- Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
- Required skills include IV starts and telemetry monitoring
- Epic EMR experience is required
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- IV start and telemetry monitoring skills required
- 2 professional references required: at least 1 from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; no coworker references accepted
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Local candidates are accepted
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or fewer
- Former employees of this facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation
- Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting the position — candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet as soon as possible
- Multiple paid parking permit options are available for travel staff through Campus Parc, ranging from budget surface lot access with shuttle service to 24/7 garage access
