Full-Time 7pm-7am – Skilled Nursing Unit

We are seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant who will share in our vision to advance better living and care for seniors.

• High School Diploma/GED;
  Two to four years experience preferred.
• Good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
• State Tested Nurse Aide licensure.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (lifting, turning, positioning, transporting; bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, grooming).
• Respond to call lights promptly and professionally.
• Provide restorative care, including range of motion, ambulation, and bowel and bladder training.
• Communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing; follow written and verbal directions.
• Provide exemplary customer service to residents, peers, families, managers, and visitors.
• Report any changes in physical or mental conditions in a timely manner.
• Assist nurses with tasks such as measuring and recording vitals, gathering weights and other documentation, making beds, cleaning closets, organizing resident living areas, and assisting with new admissions.
• Assist in training and orienting new staff.
• Adhere to resident rights documentation and report complaints to charge nurse or supervisor; maintain confidentiality.
• Document resident information accurately and confidentially in the electronic medical record system.
• Follow safety, compliance, and infection control policies and procedures.
• Practice universal precautions; use protective equipment and follow infection control protocols.
• Perform food service functions: prepare residents for meals, serve food, assist with eating, perform after‑meal care, pass snacks and fresh water/ice, record food and fluid intake, and report changes.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, including daily, deep, and discharge cleaning; engage residents in activities of interest.
• Provide restorative nursing programs necessary to maintain ADLs.
