Role
An Oncology Registered Nurse providing specialized care to cancer patients in hospital and clinical settings.
Responsibilities- Administer treatments, manage side effects, educate patients and families, monitor patient conditions, document care, respond to emergencies, develop individualized education plans, advocate for patients, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered care while adhering to safety and confidentiality standards.
- Valid RN license
- At least one year of recent oncology experience
- Current BLS certification
- Critical thinking
- Excellent communication
- Physical stamina
- Technical proficiency
- Ability to work under pressure
- Preferred certifications:
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) and ACLS
- Administer prescribed medications
- Operate oncology‑specific equipment
- Assess patient responses
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
