American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift travel position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience and telemetry skills.

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a large academic medical center hospital setting
• Telemetry monitoring is a core component of patient care in this unit
• Patient ratio of 1:3–4
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Two professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the 2nd reference; co-worker references are not accepted

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Candidates must complete the Ohio fingerprinting process promptly after accepting an offer; those outside Ohio may need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or will be mailed a packet to complete urgently
• Former employees of this facility are eligible to return after a minimum 6-month separation
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract period
• Multiple parking permit options are available for agency staff through Campus Parc, ranging from on-site garage access to budget surface lot options with shuttle service to the medical center
