• Oversee care of residents and supervise resident care assistants.
• Report directly to the Director of Nursing.
• Provide care for residents within scope of practice.
• Ensure all paperwork and documentation is up to date and compliant with state regulations.
• Assist with mealtimes.

• Communicate and function effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
• Be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, and move frequently during working hours; lift up to 40 lbs. from floor to waist, 10 lbs. from waist to shoulder and carry 40 lbs., and push/pull 40 lbs.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Assist in the evacuation of residents.

• Preserve and protect the privacy, confidentiality, and security of all medical records and related confidential information in accordance with all applicable laws (including HIPAA) and Cotter House Worthington policy.
• Promote Cotter House Worthington positively and lead by example, modeling our core values in everyday behavior.
• Approach and communicate with all residents who are cognitively impaired with dignity and respect.
• Respond to needed care while maintaining a safe community and workplace.
• Follow Cotter House Worthington policies, procedures, and manuals.
• Accept other duties as assigned.

• Active unrestricted Ohio Nursing License as an RN, BSN, or LPN.

• Preferred:
  Experience in a senior living environment.
• Preferred:
  Experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
• Preferred but not required:
  Any nursing experience.
