Schedule:

Weekend coverage required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years postpartum experience
• Labor & Delivery experience required
• IV start skills expected
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required:
  
  BLS, IV certification, IV start competency
• Telemetry interpretation required; RN must pass EKG exam prior to start

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide couplet care for postpartum mothers and newborns
• Conduct newborn assessments and support breastfeeding
• Manage postpartum hemorrhage and provide care for cesarean and vaginal deliveries
• Administer medications and IVs as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient needs

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 36 hours
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Ohio fingerprinting required
• Two professional references required; at least one must be a manager/director
• Credentialing deadline: candidates must meet Tuesday-before-start compliance cutoff
• Pre-approved time off allowance: two per contract
