Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

RN - Progressive Care Unit

Schedule:

Night Shift

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience
• Valid RN license in hand at time of submission (compact or state)
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS (NIH Stroke Scale preferred)
• Key clinical skills:
  Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation, cardiac/vasoactive drip management, IV/PICC/central line and peripheral line care, arterial line/ABG interpretation, wound care, trach and feeding tube management, post-op ortho/neuro care

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered care for adolescents and adults in a progressive care unit setting.
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips in accordance with facility policy.
• Care for IV, PICC, and central line patients, including arterial line and ABG interpretation.
• Administer wound care and manage trach and feeding tubes.
• Provide post-operative care for orthopedic and neuro patients.

Compliance / Notes:

• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Strict fingerprinting/credentialing timeline; must complete Ohio fingerprinting immediately after contract
• Current employees of the facility are ineligible for traveler roles at this location.
