Registered Nurse – Telemetry/Stepdown
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Schedule:
Every other weekend (Friday & Saturday nights)
Contract length: 13 weeks
Minimum 2 years RN experience Current acute care experience required in the specialty applied Previous telemetry/unit monitoring experience
Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
Required:
ACLS, BLS
Monitor telemetry and manage dysrhythmias. Start and maintain IVs, including peripheral line care. Administer and manage insulin drips and IV insulin protocols. Provide oxygen administration and basic respiratory support. Participate in Rapid Response and Code teams.
Orientation: 32 hours Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only). Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting ASAP after signing contract. RTO required with submission.
