Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Registered Nurse - Medical Oncology Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit

Shift: 12-hour rotating Days/Nights

Requirements:

• Current and consistent acute care experience within the last 12 months
• High-acuity PCU experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
• BLS (BCLS) certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Proven telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
• Ability to manage central lines, IV starts, and blood product administration
• Experience with PCA and chest tube management preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care setting.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and manage complex patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding care processes and health management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection prevention standards.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 72 hours; one pre-approved day off allowed
• Fingerprinting required urgently after booking
