Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Registered Nurse
- Progressive Care Unit

Schedule:

Weekdays + some weekends; rotating holidays - 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Rotating or straight nights available
- On-call required

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years PCU experience required Required certifications: ACLS and BLS Experience with Epic charting is required Trauma Level I/II experience preferred References: 2 professional references required (at least 1 from a manager/director or formal supervisor)

Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to adult patients in a progressive care unit with a focus on cardiac care. Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias. Manage ventilated and tracheostomy patients, including high-flow and HFNC. Titrate cardiac and insulin drips as needed. Perform IV starts and provide care for PICC and central lines. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.

Compliance / Notes:
Urgent fingerprinting required after booking; strict compliance deadline. Pre-approved time off:
Two per contract. Must be willing to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity.
