Critical Care Float Pool RN – ICU

Schedule:

3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (36 hrs/week) Weekend night coverage (Fri/Sat) + 1 additional night shift; minimum of every-other-weekend required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience
• Travel experience required
• Valid compact or state RN license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Proficiency with EPIC
• IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, titration of vasoactive drips, and care of ventilated patients

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients across multiple ICU types.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care procedures.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 36 hours
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Strict Ohio fingerprinting process required
• Compliance deadline: strict Tuesday prior to start (no exceptions)
• Submission requires two professional references (one manager/director)
• RTO required with submission; locals accepted at the same rate
• Former employees eligible after 6 months away; current employees ineligible
