Neuro ICU Travel Nurse
Title:
Neuro ICU Travel Nurse
Schedule:
Weekend nights every other week
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years Neuro ICU experience
- Travel experience required
- Trauma experience at Level I preferred
- Required certifications: BCLS/BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only)
- Experience with ventilator management, ICP/EVD monitoring, arterial/central line management, IV starts, and telemetry/dysrhythmia interpretation
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit
- Monitor and assess neurological status, and manage complex medical equipment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-operative care
