8 / 10 / 12-hour shifts
• Call Requirement:
• Monday – Friday: 9:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Weekends (Sat/Sun): 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Holiday / weekend coverage required based on unit needs
This role involves supporting a wide range of surgical specialties while ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile environments, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary surgical teams.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Procedures• Provide nursing care during surgical procedures
• Perform circulating duties in the operating room
• Assist in complex surgical cases
• Orthopedic
• Neurosurgery / Spine
• General Surgery
• Robotic / Laparoscopic
• ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, Transplant
• Ensure patient safety and maintain sterile environment
• Monitor patient condition during procedures
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Utilize EPIC EMR system
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards
• Minimum 2+ years of Operating Room RN experience
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma Center
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Experience in ENT, GU, Plastics, Burns
• Experience in high-acuity surgical environments
• Strong multi-specialty OR experience
• Perioperative nursing care
• Patient safety and sterile techniques
• Communication and teamwork
• Critical thinking
• Time management
• Hospital / Operating Room (Level 1 Trauma Center)
• Onsite role in Columbus, OH
• High-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment
• Must be flexible with variable shifts
• Must be open to call, weekend, and holiday coverage
• Must maintain all required certifications
