Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Oncology Registered Nurse – Med-Surg / Telemetry

Schedule:

Shift: 12-hour day/night rotating

Requirements:

• RN with minimum 2 years Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
• Acute care experience within the last 12 months in the specialty applied for
• BLS certification required
• Preferred: ONS Chemotherapy certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient oncology setting.
• Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and manage dysrhythmias.
• Conduct IV therapy, central line care, and blood product administration.
• Support clinical trials and assist with special procedures like brachytherapy.
• Ensure effective infection prevention and patient safety measures.

Compliance / Notes:

• Urgent fingerprinting process required upon booking.
• References: 2 professional references are required; at least 1 must be a manager or formal supervisor.
• RN must have a valid compact or state license at the time of submission.
• Flu vaccine is required (medical exemptions only).
