Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Oncology

Schedule:

12-hour day/night shifts, rotating coverage

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Acute care experience must be current (working consistently in the last 12 months) and in the same specialty
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Epic experience required
• Certifications:
  
  BCLS
• Unit-specific skills:
  Telemetry/dysrhythmia interpretation and management, Central line/PICC/port care and access, Blood product administration

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical oncology setting
• Monitor and manage patient conditions and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management

Compliance / Notes:

• Strict credentialing deadline:
  Tuesday prior to start
• Ohio fingerprinting must be completed immediately after signing contract
• Valid compact or state license required at time of submission
• Pre-approved time off: 1 day per contract
